Illest Rapper That You Never Heard 4: Ras Kass + New Album

Ras Kass is a 14 year veteran in the rap game and has been putting out music since the early 90's, but his name is rarely mentioned in hip hop discussions. He is a Watts native with a style that is a combination of Chino XL's punchlines, Nas' social awareness and Jay-Z's swagger. He enjoyed limited commercial success with his second album "Rasassination" thanks to appearances by artists like Dr.Dre, Mack 10, Xzibit, and Jazze Pha, but he remains an underground artist. He had a little beef with The Game because of a brawl that happened at club in LA. The scuffle left Razy knocked out and led him to make youtube videos showcasing his weapons as a threat to The Game. Ras recorded a diss, I don't think game ever responded



New Album:


Recently, Ras Kass put out a new album entitled "A.D.I.D.A.S." (All Day I Dream About Spittin). This album would have been a certified classic if it was a one disc instead of two. Still, it is a memorable masterpiece with bangers like "Linguistics" "Mind Control" and "Scenario 2012". The album has some amazing guest on including Ice T, Planet Asia, Royce da 5'9", Evidence, Mistah F.A.B, Nino Bless and many others. Ras has some of the best lyricists on his album and goes bar for bar with each one of them. Because this is a double disc, there are some fillers, but each song is filled with bar after bar of fire and punchlines like "why is devil spelled backwards lived" and "I fuck these clowns up like circus porn".
